The Grand Rapids Historical Society hosts monthly programs that include lectures, audio/media presentations, demonstrations, collections, or special tours. Programs are held at the Grand Rapids Public Library, and are free and open to the public. Upcoming programs include:

• February 9: In Between the Trees: The Story of Idlewild & Woodland Park, MI, Rose Hammond
• April 13: The Grand Rapids Dominican Sisters: Serving People on the Margins of Society, Elizabeth Chamberlain
• May 11: St. Andrew's Cemetery: Nice Quiet Neighbors, Cynthia Bailey
