History Detectives is an award-winning, day-long event that gives a stage to local historians. Sponsored by local history organizations, speakers will present on Grand Rapids history; topics covering Native American history, women's history, Festival of the Arts, the Grand Rapids Public Schools, and the Vietnamese community in Grand Rapids. Now in its seventeenth year, History Detectives continues to offer up-to-date history from independent researchers and academic historians.

Detectives de la Historia es un evento premiado de un día con presentaciones de historiadores/as locales. Con el patrocinio de organizaciones locales de historia, seis ponentes presentarán sobre la historia de Grand Rapids, abarcando temas como la historia de los nativos americanos, la historia de las mujeres, el Festival de las Artes, las Escuelas Públicas de Grand Rapids y la comunidad vietnamita en la ciudad. Ahora en su decimoséptimo año, History Detectives sigue ofreciendo historia actualizada de investigadores independientes e historiadores académicos.
