"What would She Do?" is a fresh new take on the typical anthology of trailblazing women that goes beyond the traditional history lesson. Each chapter finishes with a problem young girls are likely to face in their everyday lives and asks the question, "What would ___ do?" It invites readers to think about the ideals and strengths each woman represents and determine how they could utilize those strengths in their own lives. The book even ends with a quiz for readers to find out which trailblazer they are most like. Filled with stunning illustrations and diverse, pioneering women, I would recommend this title to readers ages 9-12 looking to be inspired.
