This is the first of this series that I have read. I will not be reading any of the others. Despite being later in the series, I didn't feel that I missed out on any information or past events that emphasized anything in this story. This book could read as a stand-alone.
This book was dull and boring. It's a mess. Two story lines; not related and with no overlap. One thrown in for a Christmas "feel good" and so much in the background that it seems there for "filler". The main story is thrown in for the intrigue of the mystery & murder. It fails.
Neither story was intriguing or satisfying.
